All services are subject to a separate project agreement or statement of work (SOW) that will define the specific scope, timeline, deliverables, and payment terms for your project.
4. Quotes, Orders & Project Agreement
Submitting a quote request form on our website does not constitute a binding agreement. A project begins only when:
- We have provided you with a written project proposal or statement of work
- You have accepted the proposal in writing (email acceptance is sufficient)
- The agreed initial deposit has been received by Codes4World
We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion prior to formal agreement.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Standard Payment Structure
- 50% deposit required before work begins
- 50% final payment due before final delivery or App Store submission
5.2 Payment Methods
We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfer (ACH/wire), and other methods as agreed in your project proposal. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.
5.3 Late Payments
If the final payment is not received within 7 days of the payment due date, we reserve the right to withhold final deliverables (source code, App Store accounts, live deployment) until payment is received in full.
5.4 Taxes
Quoted prices do not include applicable taxes (sales tax, GST, HST, etc.). You are responsible for any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.
6. Delivery Timeline
Our standard delivery timeline is 2 weeks (10 working days) from project kick-off (defined as the date we receive your deposit and completed project brief).
⚠ The 2-week timeline applies to standard projects within the agreed scope. Complex features, delayed client feedback, or scope changes may extend the timeline. Any extension will be communicated in writing before it occurs.
We are not liable for delays caused by:
- Late or incomplete information from you
- Delayed feedback or approvals beyond 48 hours per review round
- Third-party delays (e.g., App Store review times, payment processor issues)
- Events outside our control (force majeure)
7. Revisions & Change Requests
7.1 Included Revisions
- Android or iOS plan: 2 rounds of revisions
- iOS + Android plan: 3 rounds of revisions
- Website plan: 2 rounds of revisions
A “revision round” means a consolidated set of changes submitted at one time. Each round must be submitted as a single, complete list of requested changes.
7.2 Out-of-Scope Changes
Changes that materially alter the agreed scope (e.g., adding new features, changing the core concept, requesting a full redesign) are considered out-of-scope and will be quoted and billed separately. We will always notify you before undertaking out-of-scope work.
8. Intellectual Property & Ownership
8.1 Your Ownership Upon Full Payment
Upon receipt of full payment, Codes4World assigns to you all intellectual property rights to the final deliverables, including:
- Source code and codebase of your app or website
- UI/UX designs, wireframes, and design assets created specifically for your project
- App Store and Google Play developer accounts (set up in your name)
8.2 Our Retained Rights

- Use third-party open-source libraries subject to their own licences
8.3 Your Content
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use all content (text, images, logos, trademarks) you provide to us. By providing content, you grant us a licence to use it solely for the purpose of completing your project.
8.4 Prior to Full Payment
Until full payment is received, all work created by Codes4World remains our intellectual property. We may withhold delivery of all deliverables until payment is made.

- Provide all content (text, images, brand assets) in a timely manner
- Ensure the app concept and any content you provide does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
10. App Store & Third-Party Platforms
Submission to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store is subject to each platform’s own review process and policies. Codes4World:
- Will submit your app on your behalf and follow all platform guidelines
- Is not responsible for App Store or Google Play rejections due to content policy violations caused by your content or concept
- Will assist with resolving rejection issues that are within our technical control at no extra charge

11. Post-Launch Support

- iOS + Android plan: 60 days of free bug-fix support after delivery
- Website plan: 14 days of free post-launch support
Support covers bug fixes and technical issues arising from our development work. It does not cover new feature requests, content updates, or issues caused by third-party platform changes.
After the free support period, ongoing maintenance is available at agreed rates.
12. Refund Policy
12.1 Deposit
The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced, as it compensates for time, resources, and opportunity cost already allocated to your project.
12.2 Cancellation Before Work Begins
If you cancel before we begin work (within 24 hours of deposit), we will refund 100% of your deposit.
12.3 Cancellation After Work Begins
If you cancel after work has commenced, you will be billed for work completed to date at our standard hourly rate. If the deposit covers this amount, no additional payment is required; if it exceeds it, you will be entitled to a partial refund of the difference.
12.4 Satisfaction Guarantee
We are committed to delivering a product you are happy with. If you are unsatisfied after all included revisions have been used, we will work with you in good faith to resolve the issue. We do not offer refunds once a project has been fully delivered and accepted.
13. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during the project (including your app idea, business strategy, and our proprietary processes). This obligation survives the termination of our agreement.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Codes4World’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. For clients in Canada and Australia, locally applicable consumer protection laws are not excluded by these Terms.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration before pursuing litigation.
